Teignmouth Res 5 Kingsteignton Ath Res 2

Kingsteignton Athletic travelled to Teignmouth, facing a mammoth task, with only 11 players and Teignmouth flying high, the game could not have started much worse for Kingsteignton who were a goal down within three minutes, after conceding a penalty. Kings went 2-0 down shortly after Pat Twichen scored after coming on as an early sub with his first touch. Kings picked up there game but were constantly defending the second half was a more open game Kingsteignton went 3-0 down after the referee awarded a bizarre penalty to Teignmouth, Kings keeper Nigel Strickland saved Andy Breslan's penalty, but the followup was pounced on by the Teignmouth striker. Graham Disbury scored his first goal of the season for Kingsteignton after latching onto Joe Edworthy's shot. Disbury got his ssecond of the season shortly after, a trademark lob, the final score finished 5-2 to Teignmouth.
