Upton Athletic Reserves secured their first win of the season as they beat Kingsteignton Athletic's second XI 3-0 at Cricketfield Road.

John Bailey, Mikey Locke – manager Ted Locke's son smashed home from 30 yards – and Kev McCormack were on target.

Kingsteignton Athletic started their season a bare 11 Players, the first half Brixham dominated, utilising a huge kick from the keeper, Brixham took the lead from a free kick, the shot took a deflection before former Kingsteignton Player Liam Price worng footed the Kingsteignton Keeper, Kingsteignton pressed forward but found themselves 2-0 down again a silly freekick was punished by Price, Kings had chances to get back in the game Ashley Beetschen and Charlie Tucker linking up well, Kingsteignton had a goal disallowed for being offside.

The second half was a much more even contest Kingsteignton went down to ten men early on due to injury, and battled thoughout the second half but two late goals for Brixham killed the game.
