Kingsteignton Res 1 Buckland Ath Res 3
Kingsteignton started the game brightly and Buckland seemed a little stunned and resorted to long ball football. The game was well contested; Kingsteignton took the lead 25 minutes into the game. Simon Dungey’s punch fell kindly to Joe Edworthy on the edge of the Buckland box and was drilled in. Kingsteignton continued to press; Buckland failed to play to their full potential in the first half but were dangerous at set pieces. The second half Buckland started furiously, and were rewarded with three quick goals, Kingsteignton could have got back into the game late on Matt Joy had a superb strike which just clipped the top of the cross bar.
