Kingsteignton played host to Brixham United, Kingsteignton called on a few first team players and they immediately made an impact Matt Joy scoring after just over 5 minutes with a delightful flick past the keeper, Matt scored a similar goal after just after 15minutes, but was ruled out for offside, Brixham equalised on the stroke of half time some sloppy defending and misfortune contribution towards the goal. The second half was an open game, Brixham took the lead through a questionable penalty, the decision for a penalty seemed fair but bizarrely the referee played advantage and only when the keeper had saved a shot some 30 seconds later the penalty was awarded. Brixham sealed the game with a good set piece along throw which wasn't dealt with by the Kingsteignton Athletic defence, they now travel to Kingskerswell and Chelston.
