HMPS Channings Wood 1 Kingsteignton Res 2

Kingsteignton Athletic reserves travelled to Prison side Channings Wood, for the first fifteen minutes the prisoners dominated possession but Kings showed better organisation than in recent weeks and were resolute. Channings Wood took the lead after 25 minutes through Woods skipper Aaron Cole a good strike from just outside the box that took a deflection on its way to give keeper Russell Faulkner no chance to re-adjust in mid air, The goal seemed to spur Kings on who looked dangerous with Ashley Beetschen Causing problems on the right flank. Kingsteignton equalised in the 32nd minute, Graham Disbury slotting the ball into bottom corner of the net from a Joe Edworthy through ball. Disbury struck again 8 minutes later this time a great solo effort to tuck the ball into the back of the net. The second half was one sided Channings Wood piled on the pressure after influencial captain Neil Rooke was forced off the pitch due to injury. Kingsteignton held on for the victory.
